Hello everyone! Let's go over some simple trouble shooting of bluetooth connections on your phone.
First, make sure you have bluetooth turned on for your phone. To check this:
- Go to "Settings" and select "Bluetooth."
- Make sure the Bluetooth slider is set to ON and is highlighted green.
Second, make sure you have the EPS app installed. Then launch it. Once you launch it, it will ask you to allow bluetooth connections. When you see "EPS would like to use bluetooth" make sure you click "OK." If you click "Don't Allow" you will need to allow it using the following steps:
- Go to "Settings" and scroll down to "EPS"
- Click on "EPS" and a new screen will pop up - ALLOW EPS TO ACCESS
- Make sure the Bluetooth slider is set to ON and is highlighted green.
- Press home or go back to your main screen
Next, lets click on the EPS app icon. You will then see the app home screen. From here click on the "START POLLING"
If you allowed bluetooth and your gflight, gStrength or gSprint is on, then the device name will pop up. Select it and you will be connected and ready to go.
If bluetooth is not allowed, you will see an error "ALERT BleError: Device is not authorized to use BluetoothLE." This means you need to go back into settings and allow it otherwise it will not connect and you will not be able to use the app.
If you are still having issues, please try restarting your phone, turning your gStrength, gFlight or gSprint off and on again, and lastly, reinstalling the app. If after all this you are still having issues, please submit a support ticket using the link above.
Thanks!
