Athlete Positioning
- Jump stance (slightly closer than squat stance)
- Knee bend is based on preference
- Note the 10 repeat jumps should performed as quickly as possible, and therefore athlete should limit knee bend from being excessive
Coach Positioning
- Beside athlete to ensure proper jump and landing form and maximal effort is produced
Set Up
- gFlight system consist of two infrared devices that must face each other in straight line to collect data
- Ensure enough space is between the two devices for athlete to safely jump and land
Prepare to Test
- Select device, select athlete (if athlete is not entered do it now), select test.
To Test
- Athlete enters between the two gFlight devices
- Select Start when athlete is ready to perform test
- Athlete jumps 10 times
- Select Stop when done recording
- Select Save to record test
