• Quadriceps 
• Hamstrings
• Lower and Upper Back
• Core
• Forearms

Athlete Positioning

• Hinge position 
• Knee bend- slightly more knee bend than traditional hinge to ensure bar is just below knee 

Coach Positioning 

• Kneeled beside athlete to ensure proper hinge position and maximal effort is produced

Set Up

• Secure gStrength device 
  • Attach device to platform
  • Attach device to bar

Prepare to Test

• Select device, select athlete (if athlete is not entered do it now), select test.
• Tare device to ensure proper reading

To Test 

• Athlete is in proper hinge position with bar slightly below the knee while on the platform, with no slack in chain
• Athlete will grip bar securely and drive feet through platform, producing maximal force through knee and hip joints for 3-5 seconds
• Relax athlete after 3-5 seconds of maximal effort
